Warehouse Specialist
Virginia Tile Company is looking for a Warehouse Specialist for our Brooklyn Heights, Ohio location. Candidate must be energetic, customer friendly and have the ability to work in a team environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: remove inbound freight from carrier; check for shipping damage; print purchase orders for material received; label special orders and place material in appropriate warehouse storage location; prepare customer orders for customer pick-up; assist team in resolving discrepancies discovered in receiving and/or preparing shipments; select and remove material from stock in accordance with order picking list; prepare material for shipment consistent with customer’s, trucker’s, or driver’s requirements, i.e., balanced pallets and appropriately marked; and clean and restock storage bays.
Must have a minimum of 2 years warehouse experience, physically able to lift 75 pounds and the ability to operate a forklift. Candidate must also have a High School Diploma and be computer literate with AS400 experience preferred. Class B License and/or Customer Service experience a plus.
